I get this error and IP Camera does not complete the installation.
I tried 2 older versions, and the exact same Error.
1 star = Just because of installation error
will update stars if & when I'm able to install and control the camera
as advertised.
I have the software loaded and working on my Android S10 by WiFi.
Limited on what I can control yet, picture is really clear.
Great program....Only drawback is not being able to move cam images on main screen when cam is deleted....Leaves an open space when new cam is installed.
Ive been using 6.5.2.9 with win 10 and ive encountered 2 big issues which i did not encounter with my old cams and cms sw. the local playback does not work also when the hip2p sw is running, it interferes with the screen saver...ie. screen saver never activates. decided to upgrade to 6.5.3.5 and its even worse. the files in local playback wont even list at all. the screen saver issue not addressed as well.
I am having same issue of Jackie and unfortunately the programmer that uploaded it to Apple Store is impossible to reach, I can't find anywhere the contact to report. It is not working on M2 and should be quite easy to fix because works on M1
Hi everyone ! I'm using this app long time on old Mac with Intel CPU, now on Mac mini M1 and version 2.1.2 working correctly but on new MacBook Air with Silicon M2 app can't open setup for cams and watch the stream. I think this is a problem of graphic card or CPU commands. Anyone knows how to contact with chinese developer of this app or maybe it is some trick or solution to avoid this problem ?
This has got to be one of the worst user interfaces I have ever used. It doesn't even bother to use an hourglsass cursor when the system is busy. All you can do is try over and over until the error that an operation is in progress disappears. There is no consistent right click menu and the error reporting is absolutely minimal. It fails and there is nothing but a ridiculous log at the bottom of the screen. This is simply out of control. I have the system all setup to support rtsp, but I cannot for the life of me get this software to run. It just says bad password. I know the password is correct. I know the password is correct. Why doesn't it accept it?
This is the most absurd and unusable software! I just changed the password for one camera, wrote it down and took a photo of it, but this software keeps telling me "WRONG PASSWORD" over and over. The cameras themselves are good, but this software is absolute CRAP!!!
Wolf, How did you change the psw to the camera? Did you use the HiP2P program to do this or did you login direct to the camera and changed it using the camera firmware? Which version of HiP2P are you using?
I changed my ip camera using the HiP2P program thru the parameter setting/Login section entering the old, and new psw twice and hit apply. To get back to monitoring the camera I went to Device Mgmt, click on my camera on the list righthand side and got the Edit Device window and entered the new password & click OK. Then my camera came back online.
Vinny, You can't, the view options are in the task bar at the bottom right. One or 4 are the min. cameras. I don't understand what are the bitching is about, it's not the best program in the world but once you learn how to use it, it works just fine....and it's free!
